  *'Lilin' is the collective, non-gendered term for incubi/succubi.
  
  Considered to be some sort of lesser demon, perhaps due to his mixed bloodline, Bethuel grew up being traded and sold among the more powerful and prominent demons and monsters. His mother was a human slave that had been forcefully impregnated by her demonic slave trading master. As soon as he was old enough to be weaned off of milk, he was taken away from her, so he has no memories of her. After he learned how to talk and walk, he was sold, and thus began his life of slavery.
  
  As a mixed breed, his powers aren't as strong as a full-blooded demon's and therefore he is considered a lesser being by them, something to toss around and play with as they please. Like most slaves, he travels from master to master, being pawned off to someone new the moment they become bored of him.
